Bread Gift Box and Preserves Card

Follow Nancy @ The Nickel Nook on Facebook

I am sharing two cut files today that work together beautifully. The first is the Bread Gift Box, which is such a lovely way to present a loaf of bread. Alternately, it could be filled with cookies or muffins. To go along with the box, I have created a card using the Canning Jars - Preserves svg. Nothing goes better with bread than a jar of jam, right? Notice the fun strawberry paper...it's my favorite jam! :) These were so much fun to put together, and they'd make such a lovely gift!

Garden Gate Easel Card

Follow Debb @ Clicker Sisters Gallery on Facebook

I have made a Spring Card using the Birds and Garden Gate Easel Card, only I put it on a square card base instead. Then I used the Cherry Blossoms and Cherry Blossoms Branch from the Japanese Flower Girls svg. I then made an envelope using the Square Scalloped Envelope file.

PIE BOX with WINDOW FRAME

Follow Kristin @ Paper Creations by Kristin on Facebook

For my project today, I started with the PIE BOX With WINDOW FRAME and decided since this was a Spring Theme, to search the MSC store for more cuteness....and there is a lot of it!

I added BELLE BIRD, SPRING BORDER , and SPRING FLOWER. This is such a cute, little box and so simple to put together. Add little candies, small cookies or whatever fits!.

Flower Pot Card

Follow Mike @ DeZinesByEM on Facebook

For today's project I used the Flower Pot Card from MSC

This is a quick and easy project to cut and assemble, in fact the hardest part was choosing what colors and paper I wanted to use. If you have followed any of my latest posts you will know that some of my favorite color combos right now are purple and yellow.

The fun part of this card is it looks just like a flower pot, but if you pull on the flowers the center removes to reveal the hidden sentiment or greeting. I thought this was very clever and unique. To give the project some shine I added my favorite embellishment, sequins. I started with the small yellow sequins in the center of the flowers and then moved on to the flower base.

 Queen Bee and Her Littles

Follow Shirley @ Scrappy Sam Designs on Facebook

I used "Bee Belly Box Trio" found here:
https://www.myscrapchick.com//product.cfm?product=727,  for the belly box, and the faces and wings of the little bees.
The Bee Belly Box is about 8 inches tall.
I also used the carrot from "Carrot Patch Box" found here:
https://www.myscrapchick.com//product.cfm?product=537 for the little bee bodies. The little bees are about 4 inches tall.
You can find all the details on my blog here: (4/20/18) https://scrappysamdesigns.blogspot.com/2018/…/queen-bee.html

Tic Tac Donut Board Game

Follow Cyndy @ Cyndy G's Time Made for Me on Facebook

I made a Tic Tac Donut board game. I cut the base of the board out of chipboard using the Latte Cup Card (https://www.myscrapchick.com//product.cfm?product=932) and Dandy Dunker Donuts (https://www.myscrapchick.com//product.cfm?product=2034). I added a pocket on the back using one of the A2 Envelopes (https://www.myscrapchick.com//product.cfm?product=536) sized down to fit on my board.

 Springtime Rainboot Box

Follow Marlene @ Scrappin Cookie on Facebook

For my Spring Project, I created a SPRINGTIME RAINBOOT BOX and filled it with SPRING goodies - Garden Gloves, Shovel, and Seed Pockets.

To create the box, I used the My Scrap Chick Elephant Treat Box (2pc Box Only) and enlarged it. The Rainboot and Flower are from the My Scrap Chick Rainboot Shaped Card. Instead of adding the flowers to the top of the rainboot, I added only one to the buckle strap of the rainboot.

As a final SPRING touch, I added a small butterfly from the My Scrap Chick Flutter of Butterflies file.

 Family Pedestal Set

Follow Jill @ One Grey Cat Designs on Facebook

I'm SO excited to share my Facebook Hop Project with you! For the Facebook Hop I decided to make a set of three Pedestals. I know, I know...three? Well, yes. Because I had an idea in my head and well sometimes you just have to go with it! I went to a retreat a few months ago and I found this sheet of paper that had several 2x3 “Family Sayings”. The Paper name is “Family Time” and it’s manufactured by Bella! This sheet of paper is the only paper I used for the base, other than the brown.

Now onto my project! If you look at my photos you will see that I had a LOT of ground I wanted to cover. I wanted to use a 2 x 3 Family Time Saying, I wanted to use a “Family” photo, and I wanted to incorporated our last name in it somehow. I think I covered all the bases. And this paper allowed me to do that! I found the PERFECT Family quote! I found a photo of the three of us (yes, there are four in the photo but the boyfriend isn’t really in the family yet! lol) AND I was able to incorporated the letter “C” into the project as well!

The files I used for my project are as follows:
I’ve been considering adding some leaves to my project, and if I do I will be using the following file:

I worked on my project at a Crop that I go to each month, and several of the people there saw them and fell in love with them! And I have to be honest, I think I’m going to make another set with photos of my cats on them…just because! I’ll be sure to share that one when I’m done with it!

Spring Paper Wreaths using Svgs and Cardstock

Shirley decided to make a paper wreath in beautiful spring colors. Her part of the country had a long cold winter so this beauty is a welcome addition to her front door.

Butterfly Wreath

Create a Butterfly Garden on your own front door by using a thrift store wreath or sprucing up your own grapevine wreath, using it as a base. Add the butterflies from the Butterfly Easel card and the Butterfly layers cutting files. Shirley's color combination for papers is perfect for spring but you could also change up the colors to suite summer and fall themes.

Spring Wreath with Paper Flowers and Belle Bird

All the makings for a spring wreath are right there in your stacks of cardstock. Every part of Julie's wreath is made from scrapbook papers including the round base.

She cut 3 wreath forms from the Fall Leaf Wreath cutting file and glued them together for a sturdy base. Then she added simple flower shapes, a 3D paper bow and Belle Bird.

Pretty Tote Bags and Paper Tassels

Mike from our design team made up some Trendy Tote Bags to give as birthday gifts this month. He added his own beautiful touch with paper tassels strung on the tote's handles.

I loved this classy touch he added to these so I made a cutting file for the Pretty Paper Tassels

Be sure to visit Mike @ DeZinesbyEM for a lot more info plus really helpful tips on shading with ink cubes and a "special" handy blending tool.

"Photo Tutorial for Pretty Paper Tassels"
After cutting out the parts for the tassel cut a small strip of twine or cord and glue the ends to beginning of the tassel cutout.
Begin rolling the tassel tightly around the cord. When you get to the end of rolling the strip use a small bit of glue to hold it closed. With your fingers you can gently fluff out the tassel ends to give them a bit of a curve.

Glue one end of the top decorative strip to the tassel
and wrap it around tightly letting it overlap onto itself.

Finish wrapping it around and glue the other end down. You can also use washi tape or ribbons in place of this strip.

When all glue is set and completely dried you can use the Paper Tassel as embellishment on various craft projects, like adding it to a paper purse or totebag like Mike did. These would be great to have for graduation projects too using school colors.
